We had a group of 12 happy campers for a 5 night stay in the group site - 8 tents, no RVs or campers. The group site is the only reservable site in the CG, otherwise it's FCFS. The CG was maybe half full during our stay and the other guests were considerate of quiet hours at night.
The shelter at the group site is wonderful and spacious. Plenty of tables for the kitchen and dining. The grill setup worked really well with the dutch oven we used for three dinners.
There isn't any water at the CG, but we didn't have too many problems with finding water in Kanab, UT.
There's only one bar of cellular service for AT&T and Verizon; we could send/receive text messages, but voice and streaming didn't work.
There were two RV sites in the group loop and they were the only campsites with tent pads. The rest of the group site could really use some additional tent pads. There weren't many really level spots to pitch our tents.
There is a double vault toilet in the group loop and it could use some signage that the toilets were for the group loop and the other toilets were located across the campground. The bathrooms were cleaned once during our stay and restocked with toilet paper; other than that the toilets were clean, free of trash and didn't need to be pumped.
There was a dumpster at the CG entrance and it was emptied regularly.
The CG is adjacent to Hancock Rd which leads from Hwy 89 to the Coral Pink Sands State Park. During the day and evening there is a reasonable amount of traffic and traffic noise, but that subsides fairly well into the evening and overnight.
This is a nice, clean CG.
