What Guests Are Saying
Bowery Creek campground offers a beautiful setting with plenty of trees, great lake views, and friendly, helpful hosts, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the clean facilities, well-maintained sites, and proximity to local amenities, enhancing their overall experience. However, some noted issues with potholes in the access roads and challenges with parking and site sizes, particularly for larger RVs.

Rustic and not an easy drive to get to. Original spot was 27 and was too small for my 40 ft
Moved us to 17 which was great. Watch out for pot hole at stop sign.

Trees everywhere. Drinking water nearby. Birds and deer entertainment. Walking distance from the lake and a small store with supplies (fire wood, drinks...). Fire rings for fire safety. Host was helpful and kind. Bathrooms were average, but we had an RV and could use our own facilities. Quiet. We wish we would have stayed longer. We would go back. Price was very fair.

Everything was clean & beautiful. Our campsite had a beautiful view of the lake. The lodge had ice cream which was a huge hit with the grandkids.
We all had a great time and looking forward to our August visit.
Thank you!

Site description stated 114 ft of vehicle space in the pull thru double site 36.the site was extremely off canter from side to side the entire length if the site. One 24ft Class C motorhome without a tow vehicle & a truck pulling a bumper hitch trailer (total length 44 ft) . So we were well within the site description limitations. But there was no way both rigs could find space that was even remotely level side to side nor front to back. We traveled many hours to this campsite, however, we ended up having to take 2 double sites that were unoccupied in order to accommodate our families. We paid one night rate of 48.00 for both rigs in Site 36, but when we were forced to relocate to 2 different sites, we were charged an additional 40.00 to spend one night. So 88.00 for one night with no hookups is outlandishly ridiculous. The camphost, Dick stated he had no choice but to charge more money. It is unfortunate that such a lovely park is not being advertised truthfully as far as lot sizes and we will not be including the park in any future recommendations to our RV group in Western Colorado
