Campground was great! We had a fun time. The only downside was only one toilet in the women’s for half the camp. So lots of waiting all the time. But it was clean and running water. So overall we’d stay here again.

Beautiful setting! Water is easy to get. Campsites sometimes not private, though. And hard to navigate until you learn your way around.

We just got home from campsite #9 and already want to go back! The camp host was super nice and the bathrooms were very clean and had flushing toilets/running water sink. There are also a lot of potable/drinking water spigots to refill water bottles and jugs throughout camp. We had to pitch our tent on the asphalt, but it wasn't bad. There was one other possible spot for a tent that might have worked, but we put our hammocks there because our tent is a 10-man and quite large. There is very little shade in the spot, so bring a sun shade, or umbrellas, or an EZ up, because it gets really hot and miserable in the day. You can easily walk to the lake in 5-7 minutes across the main road, but we just drove. We found many great swimming and fishing spots! The locals are very friendly! Bowery Haven cafe has the BEST fried in beef tallow sweet potato fries you'll ever try! Specialty lemonade and limeades are also divine!

After 2 months of planning, I was rented a camp site that I could not fit my trailer in. My trailer is not very big, but the trailer pad was at a bad angle and rose straight up 2 feet from the road. Apparently the park service knows this and still rents it. Thanks to some very nice camp hosts I was put in an overflow lot. But I got to spend my weekend at fish lake in a field listing to cows call all night long. The camp site is nice, but do not pick site 25 unless you are tent camping. Even then you will have no place to park your car. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Bowery Creek campground has a beautiful location amid the aspens and pines adjacent to Fish Lake, Utah. The camp hosts were wonderful: so helpful and accommodating to us on our first visit to the campground. Can't recommend them highly enough!
A note to those camping in larger RV's or travel trailers is that some of the sites are fairly short and won't easily accommodate larger rigs.

Unfortunately we were up there camping during the fire in the Besvrr area and the smoke from that fire drifting into the Fishlake area and forced us to break camp and leave to protect our health.
