Bowery Creek campground offers a beautiful setting with plenty of trees, great lake views, and friendly, helpful hosts, making it a popular choice for campers. We love the Bowery! The hosts are amazing and you can’t beat the location. We moved from a reserved site to a first come first serve site that was a bit better for our group and the hosts helped us with that. I’ve been back for years and will be back for years more.

Please for the love of all that’s holy change nothing about Bowery creek. They have ruined the other campgrounds at Fishlake with these modern wide open campgrounds. This is the last good one left. After 30 years coming up every July I might have to break tradition if they ruin Bowery Creek too.

Capital Reef is only a short drive away and well worth the trip. Take a drive up the Matogy mountain for some amazing views of the lake from the top of that mountain.

Stunning gem of a campground - and gems of campground hosts! Make sure to get their local recommendations. It was a beautiful drive in and very peaceful.

We reserved two double sites #35 and #36 at Bowery creek. They were on the top road of Bowery Creek. They have a very good view of the lake and good shade. Close to restroom and water. Site are level and room for two or more units, depending on the size. Good tent pads are part if these sites.

We love the clean camp site. We have a large group and are able be reserve sites close together. The Camp Hosts are great and very helpful. There are high quality, friendly and good people that were using the campgrounds. We felt safe and had no problems with items being stolen. It is hard to reserve the triple sites because of the high demand. Fish Lake has been home for me since I was 3 years old. We enjoy going to the area each year.
