Beautiful views! The campsite we chose did not look like the photos. The biggest issue was the bathrooms are not very close to many of the campgrounds. I was nervous that animal may be in there because the doors opened with the wind. Would go back but a different campsite maybe?

We loved our time at Bowery Creek campground despite some cold nights and windy days. One of the major factors in our positive experience was the campground host, Dick. He was always cheerful and understanding and did everything he could to make our stay a pleasant one.

We hope that his supervisors know what an asset he is to the park.

Beautiful location with convenient amenities and we’ll maintained. But the tent site #9 doesn’t have any locations but the asphalt to place a tent.

What a nice campground! Nestled into the aspen forest, the sites were spacious and nicely laid out. Even had a view of the lake! We stayed one night at a neighboring “resort” rv park - if you don’t require rv hookups, then hands down, the rec.gov Bowery Creek campground is soooooo much nicer by comparison. We look forward to returning.
