Lots and lots of cows nearby. Not sure if this is only during a certain time of the year, but unless you are planning on getting up at 5am (or earlier), find out if the cows are still so close and so many.

We have come to this campground for the past 3 years and love it there. This year was a little more challenging due to the fires in the area that covered the area with smoke. Also, since the winter was so mild, cows were allowed to graze nearby since the water levels on the upper pastures were low. The cows were moved out of the pasture on June 23rd.
Sites and bathrooms were very clean and the camp hosts are great folks.

What a wonderful place to spend time, we have spent time with alot of camp hosts, and I must say Vicki and Thom are the best. Besides keeping everything immaculately clean, they are so caring and respectful and make sure that all is well. As long as they are there , Doctor Creek is our to go place. Thanks for another wonderful experience

These camp hosts are the best! Everything is clean and organized. They are super helpful and nice. We've always liked this campground The water level is very low and you can walk across to the mountain side now. You can get cell service with a 4 mile drive up the hill, no service in the campground.

It's just a totally unique campground, set in towering aspens, with tons of views. Bathrooms were spotless, camp hosts were great, overall top marks.
