Doctor Creek has nice long wide spaces, a nice restroom and great hosts. It is conveniently close to Fishlake.

It was a great experience. I’m hoping the new rebuilt campsites up the lake are onsite soon. That way good camping will become easier

I needed to move from the site because of the steep slope and the camp host was super friendly and accommodating even though we arrived past 9pm.

This campground is pretty remote, but worth the drive if you like quiet campgrounds with beautiful scenery. There is lake access at the day-use area, and there is additional access right down the road at Fish Lake Lodge. The sites were spacious. Space 25 and 26 seemed a bit more removed and were close to the bathroom without being too close. Speaking of bathrooms, they were super clean.

Beautiful location and a fun area. Fishing, four-wheeling, exploring, or being lazy in a quiet spot are all easily available from this campground.
The camp hosts are fantastic. They keep the campsite clean, quiet, and well organized. The campsites are modern and comfortably equipped. Tent pad is level and plenty large for my springbar 6-man tent.
My only gripe with the doctor creek campground is that they should have planned one more bathroom. Technically, there are two, which would be enough, but the second bathroom is dedicated to the group site only. That leaves 30 campsites sharing one restroom.

Very nice campground. Well kept and clean. Generally everyone is well mannered. The camp hosts are very nice. Great place to stay, especially if fishing on the lake.

This was our second year to stay at the newly reconstructed Doctor Creek Campground and it was still beautiful. Our timing couldn't have been better because the weather was perfect for kayaking every morning - glassy smooth - and we were thrilled to see a beaver swimming back to its home and four or five eagles from six eagle nests as we slowly drifted and paddled along the eastern shore. It rained in the afternoons, which we expected, and enjoyed reading in our trailer. Fishlake has been a favorite destination for the two of us (both in our 80s) for seven years. We've hiked and biked the Lakeshore Trail several times, and hiked the Crater Lake Trail once early-on, but wouldn't do it again at our ages.

The potable and black tank wash out masts leak all over you and the perimeter. I don’t know if it is a poor design or that there are faulty parts that need replaced, These dumps stations were just installed a few years ago and we have been there for the last 3 years in Doctor Creek. They leaked from the very first year we used them and have never been repaired. I guess is you need a free shower and don’t mind the cold water it is a positive. Thanks for listening.
