What a wonderful place to spend time, we have spent time with alot of camp hosts, and I must say Vicki and Thom are the best. Besides keeping everything immaculately clean, they are so caring and respectful and make sure that all is well. As long as they are there , Doctor Creek is our to go place. Thanks for another wonderful experience

We have come to this campground for the past 3 years and love it there. This year was a little more challenging due to the fires in the area that covered the area with smoke. Also, since the winter was so mild, cows were allowed to graze nearby since the water levels on the upper pastures were low. The cows were moved out of the pasture on June 23rd.
Sites and bathrooms were very clean and the camp hosts are great folks.

Lots and lots of cows nearby. Not sure if this is only during a certain time of the year, but unless you are planning on getting up at 5am (or earlier), find out if the cows are still so close and so many.

The hundreds of cows grazing 50 yards from our camp was not expected. Noise, flys, and cattle smell wasn't the expirence I was expecting. Very loud all night every night and day.

Tip: they sell firewood for 10$ a bundle- cash only.
The bathrooms were very clean.
I'd recommend knowing where hikes are in advance, since there's no service for a while prior. Also, there's almost no gas stations so fill up when you see them.
The nature was very nice.

What a wonderful campground! And we had the great fortune of camping there the week that it opened, so we were only one of 4 campers in the whole campground! The flora and fauna were abundant and varied. Sadly, the aspens were not budding, but were still quite beautiful. Tom, the host, was cordial and informative. The nearby hiking trails lead to interesting sites, including a beaver house! Would definitely stay there again.

Great facilities and access to the lake, the host even provided some free wood for the campfire. Beautiful trail leads directly from the rear of the campsite which loops around the lake.
