What Guests Are Saying

The campground offers clean facilities, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere with ample space between sites for privacy. Roger, the helpful host, ensures a pleasant experience despite the weather. However, visitors should prepare for mosquitoes and uneven tent sites, as well as a distant garbage disposal location.

Beautiful location and clean, well kept campground. Perfect spot between Fish Lake and Johnson reservoir. Flush toilets. Kids rode bikes all over. It is up on a hill, we had a group spread between 4 campgrounds and had to walk the hill to be together, but no big deal because it is a small campground. Woke up to mooing cows and chirping birds early each morning. It seems to cater a bit more to RV’s/tent trailers. (No hookups, but drinking water spouts set up throughout the campground) We had to set up our 10 man tent in the gravel driveway because of lack of flat tent spots, but that worked out fine for us. (Except group site has a large flat field for tents.) We would definitely stay again!!

The location was fantastic as it was far enough away from road and the lake to have a quiet experience. The best part were the hosts George and Vicki. They had so many stories to tell and were so informative on local happenings. The best example was when the told me about the geese tagging.

Campsite was great, the host on the other hand was very moody. Kids cant ride bikes without being harassed or accused of looking into other camps at things laying around, or trashing bathrooms. Kids were 5 to 9 years old and caused no problems. Rented 6 spots. wont go back if same hosts are ther.

Frying Pan camp ground was a hidden gem. The location was perfectly of the main road, all the sites are spaced just enough. The camp host was friendly and very accommodating. We would stay here again and again. Our weekend was peaceful and the lake is just a short drive away for day fishing.

Campground was in wonderful condition, clean and well taken care of.
Our campground host was friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
All around a great experience that we will do again, next year.
The campground would benefit from some investment and upgrading.
