This place is perfect for a small gathering. There's tables, water, and a large charcoal barbecue along with a fire ring. The Pavillion is covered. Plenty of parking. We used it for a lunch stop on a benefit motorcycle ride. It worked out great.

We had a great luncheon with the Forest Service cooking, DNR and workers all eating in the pavilion.

The reservation runs from 8 am to 10 PM. If you want to leave your stuff there overnight (at your own risk), you have to rent it for 2 days. It has lots of room, lots of tables, lighted at night, tables weren't clean when we got there but were soon after, and we had a good experience with 21 family members. Stage 2 fire restrictions were in place, we couldn't use the BBQ grates or the fire pit, but they needed attention if they could have been used. This is a great family gathering place when a cabin or two aren't big enough. When the need arises, we'll use them again.

Excellent location for a family get together. Location is very familiar from past family outings with long passed parents and grandparents. I highly recommend the location for group events
