Beautiful clean campground. A narrow road leading into camp sites. Boulders need to be moved for bigger trailers to pass through. trees could use some trimming as well.

Camp directors were very nice. The site was large it terms of parking, but there was almost no flat areas to pitch a tent. We tried to find flat spots but some were outside the boundaries apparently, and we were asked to relocate tents. It was a huge hassle. I would not use that location again.

We camped in sites 2 & 3, which were clean and decently kept. This is particularly true due to how busy the area is and how much foot traffic comes by. Road noise in these sites is significant, but it blends into the background as your busy doing other things. Also, direct access to the river is blocked by thick growth at the site, which is good if you have little kids. The one issue we did have with the campground was the latrine. Something is wrong with the ventilation, as even if the doors are consistently shut and toilet lids down it is hands down (or up over your nose, in this case) the stinkiest facility I’ve ever used at any parks’ campground or trailhead. The overall campground is beautiful, with lots of rivers and streams features and access to potable water. We would camp there again, but next time probably further back into the canyon a bit if the kiddos were older.

I have been camping at this campground since I was a child. Spring hallow holds a very special place in my heart as my core memories. & this year I took my two little girls 6&4 to share with favorite place and extend the memories and tradition. Even after all the years spring hallow is just as peaceful, beautiful & clean as it always has been. Greatful for this place & the joy it brings.
