Spring Hollow was a great campground - perfect for our large family camp out. There were plenty of picnic benches, a large fire pit, and public restrooms. A large portion of the site we reserved was covered with cement which made it nice for food preparations. There were many - plenty - of flat spaces for tents and good spaces for our three travel trailers. We also had plenty of room for vehicles. The trees provided wonderful shade all throughout the day so our July camping was not sweltering hot. The river was beautiful and perfect for kids to wade in. Plenty of hiking available as well! The downsides were a) the bathrooms were pretty rudimentary with clear evidence of rodents so we didn't use them much and opted for the bathrooms in the trailers b) there were boxelder bugs EVERYWHERE - they covered the picnic tables to the point that we couldn't use the ones under the trees. Also, be aware that there is limited to no cell coverage at the campground so making phone calls requires a 5-10 min drive toward Logan.

We stayed in the lower group site (site A) and had more than enough tent space, trailer space, and parking for about 75 people. The site is full of shade which was very nice in hot July and there are numerous hikes and walks in the area for hikers or all ages and abilities. Too bad the pond (really 3rd dam reservoir) wasn't full. That would have been a blast to kayak on. We took a day trip to Bear Lake but decided next time we'll spend the entire time in camp because we felt like there was so much to do just in camp and in the immediate area. Far enough up the canyon to be in the mountains but close enough to Logan for quick trips for those things you always forget. Far enough from the main road that there was no road noise, a rarity for Logan Canyon.
