What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Springs Campground is praised for its beautiful location near the marina, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many reviews highlight the spaciousness and privacy of the sites, along with the well-maintained vault toilets. However, some concerns include the need for better picnic tables, the absence of running water and showers, and the campground's pricing. Overall, it remains a favorite spot for many campers.

The fire ring is crumbling, the picnic tables are terrible, the drop off from the pavement is dangerous. We went to the showers that are available for campground guests and the hosts would only allow two of the showers to be used. We were there in August and it’s still the busy summer season. Families were there occupying showers and there was a wait to get in. The hosts claimed it was to conserve water but there will still be the same number of showers taken but only in two stalls. My guess is they didn’t want to clean more than the two stalls…isn’t that their job?.
The bathrooms were kept very clean and well stocked.
On a final note, it seems greedy to charge extra for a car that can be parked on the pavement within your campsite. We all have schedules and coming at different times may mean an extra car. We had a car that pulled our camper and then one more. That’s not worthy of an additional charge in my opinion, it’s just gouging.
If you want to charge extra then there should be some love given to the state of the campsites.

The water available at the campground was drinkable but not as clear as you might like. Other than that we had a very good stay. Clean restrooms and our campsite host was friendly and helpful. He always had firewood available and it was really good firewood that could burn for a long time.

We always enjoy Cedar Springs as it is quiet and offers easy access to the great little marina. Bob our Camp Host is terrific, too!

The campground was nice, but spartan. The campground manager was EXCELLENT--really nice guy and super helpful. It was dusty and the picnic tables' paint has peeled and exposed wood is splintery and uneven. How hard would it be to put in some bathrooms with running water, flush toilets, and maybe even a hot shower?
