Had made my reservation in advance for a specific spot in the campground. However upon arrival I was told that site was being repaired do to electrical issues. This would have been nice to have know in advance. Then the site with said “electrical issues” was being used by another rv that was plugged into the power. Not sure what that was all about but it definitely would have been nice if they would have notified me of the switch in sites before my arrival.

We arrived after hours and thought the check in process was great. Easy to understand and loved having the envelopes there for us to nab as we went to our site. The sites were nice, and level. We were only there for a night on our way to Grand Tetons and appreciated the electric hook up. The picnic area at the site was great with the wind fences.

People walking through our camp is annoying. Properly educate your guests that walking through other’s camp grounds is unacceptable.
There are bathrooms on every loop, there’s no need to walk though areas that don’t have a paved path.

The water was amazing! We loved the beautiful canyons off the main channel. The beach was a little steep getting down to, but we had it almost to ourselves. Bathrooms were clean, and the campground was quiet. We are going to come every year!
The only thing I would say could have been improved was that It would have been nice to have someone in the office that we could have checked in with when we needed some assistance. And the showers didn't drain very well.

We had a great time camping and on the lake, for the most part. The campground has showers that are nice, however the bathrooms weren’t stocked well with tp and soap. A private company brought bagged ice to purchase on the weekends. I had a lot of difficulty with my reservations. My reservations were cancelled at the last minute by the campground and it was incredibly difficult to get a hold of anyone who could help. I finally got in touch with someone who opened a first come first serve site since our reservation was cancelled. They told me to call the week of our trip so they could remind the camp host to block out that site, which I did. When we arrived, the camp host had given away the spot we were promised. They gave us another site that had no shade and made us pay extra for electricity that we didn’t need. There are dogs allowed at this campground. Unfortunately some people do not clean up after their dogs and you have to watch your step. One evening, while out for a walk, 2 unleashed and unsupervised big dogs aggressively charges toward us. We stopped and faced the dogs and they stopped, then the owner called them back to their campsite. Overall we had a good time, but there were a few frustrations. With the money spent on the campsites, I felt like things could have been done better.

Nice campground for visiting Flaming Gorge. Proximity to marina a positive for us as we also brought a boat.
