Lucerne Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, well-kept sites and convenient access to the lake and marina, making it a great spot for boating and fishing. Many guests appreciated the clean facilities, friendly staff, and enjoyable atmosphere, with positive experiences shared about the showers and overall cleanliness. However, frustrations arose regarding inconsistent bathroom upkeep, reservation issues, and some maintenance challenges, such as unkempt grounds and lack of essential supplies like soap and toilet paper.

Bathrooms were regularly cleaned and stocked with TP, but no hand soap, so I recommend taking a small bottle of soap of your own. Daily showers were a big plus of staying in the campground, as well as quick access to the Lucerne boat launch ramp. Everyone around us was considerate and kept things quiet after 10 PM. One thing that was hard to determine from the reservation system was which spots feature covered picnic tables and wind/sun blocks, so we relied on Google maps for that information. It's something the reservation system could improve.

We were so surprised! We are not boaters but enjoyed swimming and a lovely hike.

Bathroom was still out of order from months prior.
Shower was gross
Overall campground has gone down hill even more so than last year.
Overall this campground needs some serious help & new camp hosts that care to actually upkeep it.
We went into the bathroom right after it was “cleaned” and it was still a gross mess and had no toilet paper or anything

Make sure to review if your site has covered area because if it doesn't you may want to plan to bring a canopy.

The camp host was so helpful and helped answer all of our questions about last minute first come first serve spots. The campgrounds were well kept and within walking distance to the lake. Showers were wonderful! Dump station was clean and convenient. The electric hookups were great.
Unfortunately the campsites were all different as far as whether they were totally exposed to the sun and 106 degrees and no shade, as opposed to trees and covered picnic tables and canopies. Some spots were wonderful and some were hot and miserable.
It would be nice if all the sites were more all the same. Please build more shades!!!

Half of the showers and bathrooms were out of order. We stayed two nights and the bathrooms never got cleaned. Gross! And campsites after vacated were not cleaned. We had to gather up debris all over our site before setting up our tent. We did not clean out the fire pit that was full of someone else’s garbage but I did pick up garbage off the ground,
