Great campsite near a perfect spot for swimming and paddling on the Colorado. Nice big fire pit, some cool tables and benches made of the local stone. Large pavilion with plenty of space for seating and cooking. Plenty of room for tents around the campsite. The bathrooms are close which can be good and bad….

This is the most incredible campsite! The setting alone makes it worth it, with high, red cliff walls encircling. It's stunning in the daytime and in the evening with the stars. I was in awe every time I looked around and considered ourselves very fortunate. Having the Colorado River accessible right there was really fun for our group. The pavilion is so nice and accommodated our large group. There was plenty of space for numerous tents. Plenty of parking too. A relatively short and convenient drive to Arches National Park or into Moab, and a gorgeous drive from the campsite to Fisher Towers as well. Just an incredible campsite!

Group Site C is a private and secluded site away from the other crowded campsites in Big Bend. It is a bit warmer than the other sites due to the lack of tree shading and proximity to the river. This site would receive 5 stars except for the frequent up canyon breeze can waft the odor from the vault toilet into the camp. The BLM thoughtfully placed the toilet a fair distance from the shade structure so the odors were not unbearable.

Excellent venue with a well maintained pit toilet, shad structure and a beautiful view.
Removed from the fray of a busy Colorado River scene, but not too far away.
Would give it a five if it was cooler weather!
Thanks for providing a good camping experience.
Right next to a Big Horn Sheep lambing area. Within view of the Colorado.

Good site, stone tables are great as well as shade from trees and large shelter. Area is crowded though and we had several groups try to poach our site. More signage is needed to help folks understand where they can and cannot camp.
