What Guests Are Saying
Devils Garden Campground offers a stunning setting with beautiful views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a highlight for many visitors. The campground is well-maintained, providing easy access to nearby trails and great opportunities for stargazing. However, some campers noted the extreme heat in summer and the lack of shade, which can be challenging, especially during peak temperatures.

This site was incredible. Nobody at all on one side. Lots of room for tents. The concrete wall near the picnic table made a really good spot to cook on that was totally flat. I explored the entire campground, and this was definitely one of the best sites there. You won’t be disappointed if you’re tent camping. The trail to broken arch at sunset might just be the best spot in the entire park. Don’t miss it if you’re camping here. And sand dune arch is the spot to be when it gets super hot.

I was supposed to be in site 049 for three nights. I feel the site was unusable and I left after one night. The site is essentially a sand dune resting on some rocks to the south. There was no level place to pitch my tiny two man tent. So I did what you do and pitched it where my feet would be lower than my head. But the worst was that the site in a funnel between two rocks. The wind comes whistling through creating a literal sandstorm. I know how to orient my tent to point the closed end into the wind, but since there was no flat spot that would have left me sleeping on a side slope. My tent stakes wouldn't hold in the sand either so I had to re-stake at 3 am. But the worst was when I was trying to have lunch the first day, the sandstorm blew sand into my food and I couldn't even eat. That's when I left. I surveyed the campground and most other people were not having the same problem. I feel this campsite does not meet NPS standards and should be closed.

Loved being able to stay overnight in the park, finally. Very peaceful. I’ll be back.

Cool campground with lot of scenery all around, but so far back into the park takes a minute to get to. Also not near anything outside of the Devil's Garden.

This campground has mazing unique campsites - tent campers can take full advantage of the added space beyond the paved area for RVs/Campers. The view from our site was amazing. The hiking trail with trailhead in the campground was also amazing.
Unfortunately, we were not able to book 2 nights for the same campsite, but we spoke with the camp host, and they were very accommodating and helpful, allowing us extra time after check-out to get packed up and move to our new site for the second night.
