No cell coverage at the campgound.
No ice available except for in Moab.
Visit Canyonlands too. It's only 30 minutes away.

The campgrounds are spectacular, very hard to get a reservation, but if you do it will be worth getting up at 6:00 AM, six months in advance, and hovering over the “add to cart” button, to click at just the right moment. No big rigs here and only about 50 spaces. They have potable water which is unusual for parks in the area. They have firewood for purchase , and a beautiful arch right in the amphitheater. To be nestled in the rock with views of the park to the east was delightful. Also, so much to do both in and out of the park ( you must go to Canyonlands: Island in the Sky district).

The views were awesome and the location was incredible. The easy and ready access to running water for drinking and washing dishes was awesome. Likewise, access to bathrooms was ideal. I appreciated our camp host, and how easy it was to get firewood. I would absolutely stay there again!

No issues with the campground as a whole. However our site (43) did not match the photos on this site so we’re a little disappointed to see we were in a wide open space in clear view of both neighbors. Otherwise things were clean and the short little hiking trail was a good bonus

Everything was great. Beautiful site with lots of privacy and stunning views, clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing hikes right from the campground.

The campground is nice. Our space a reasonably level. The sites are pretty close together, and with all rocks in the area, voices tended to carry.
I would stay here again, but if you have the chance to camp outside the park in more remote areas (there's dispersed camping just outside the north entrance), I'd encourage you to get out of the campground.
