About Devils Garden Campground

Devils Garden Campground is located deep within the heart of beautiful Arches National Park in Southeastern Utah, at an elevation of approximately 5200 ft.. The campground is situated among natural sandstone arches and fins and is only 18 miles north of the park's entrance and 23 miles from Moab, Utah.

The broken arch trail from junction to sand dune arch back to devils garden entering behind site 51 is hard to follow. We lost our way and found our way out at the main road skyline arch trailhead instead and then hitchhiked back to our site. We talked with another camper who had a similar experience losing the trail in this section.

Campsite was beautiful and park is super cool. Good facilities, well located and fairly private site. We got crazy weather there and the tent was blown around like crazy, but the campsite was very funky.

What a great park! We had such a wonderful experience. The park was clean and well maintained. The arches were magnificent and truly awe inspiring. The camp grounds were clean and the dark skies were a marvel - we actually saw the Milky Way. Hard to believe it is there every night but because of the light pollution normally you cannot see it. Highly recommended this park

March 1st - October 31st: All campsites at Devils Garden are by reservation only. Walk-in sites are not available.

November 1st - February 28th: All campsites at Devils Garden are first-come, first-served. In the winter, this is a Scan & Pay campground. Pay via Scan & Pay or self-registration envelope. Download the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival as there is limited cell service.

*No one camper or their equipment may spend more than 7 days in this campground per month or 14 days in a year.*

Firewood is not for sale at the campground. Please buy a coupon for firewood at the Visitor Center.

Generator hours are 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The park entrance fee is $30 per vehicle, $25 per motorcycle, or $15 for a pedestrian or bicyclist. The fee is valid for seven days and may be paid upon arrival or purchased in advance. Interagency annual and lifetime passes are honored.
