What Guests Are Saying

Devils Garden Campground offers a stunning setting with beautiful views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a highlight for many visitors. The campground is well-maintained, providing easy access to nearby trails and great opportunities for stargazing. However, some campers noted the extreme heat in summer and the lack of shade, which can be challenging, especially during peak temperatures.

Beautiful views and some shade available. Not terribly far from the bathrooms, which were clean and well kept.

What a perfect place to stay Inside of Arches so you can get an early start on morning hikes before the busses arrive, and stay late for a sunset without having to drive back in the dark. Lovely, spacious camping sites. Clean bathrooms - but can be a bit far from some sites. Gorgeous location!

I loved this campground. The ranger at checkin was very polite and informative. I really enjoyed the program in the evening that taught us the history of this park.

Stunning setting.
Be prepared for no shade or hookups for relief from the summer heat.

Did not realize the site would be complete sand! The regular sites were not this way.
Also, another camper pulled into the parking lot of the group site and stayed the night without paying. Rangers did nothing. Why pay if you can just stay in the lot for free??

This campground was beautiful but our campsite (#39) just shouldn't be a campsite. It's basically on a gravel shoulder of the road right across from the bathroom so there's light and sound all the time and honestly no space or views. There's no way we should have paid the same amount as others did for their campsites. Also, there is no soap in the bathroom which is disgusting so at least bring that for yourself.

The Group Camp site was very spacious and located at the end of the loop. A pit toilet was conveniently located nearby. However, it will be much better if a water spigot or a sink can be provided.

Devils Garden Campground was one of the highlights of our Utah trip. The campsites are spacious, quiet, and surprisingly private, with incredible views in every direction. One of the biggest advantages is the location. Being inside the park allows you to start hikes early before the crowds arrive and enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets without driving back to Moab. Several trails, including Broken Arch and the famous Devils Garden Trail, are accessible directly from the campground. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. However, there are no showers or hookups. Reservations are highly competitive and often book up months in advance.
The night skies are absolutely incredible, making it a perfect spot for stargazing and photography. If you're looking for the best way to experience Arches National Park, Devils Garden Campground is hard to beat. Peaceful, scenic, and conveniently located, it's a place we'd gladly stay again.
