We loved this campground - well looked after and in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, the wind blew so hard it snapped our tent poles. Perhaps you could consider putting campers in the most sheltered areas and maybe even erecting some windbreaks or planting native trees that might provide shelter.

Ken’s Lake Campground sites are spaced apart and fairly level. The Mountain View’s are outstanding and the six mile drive to Moab is easy. It’s slightly longer to Arches and further to Canyonlands Parks but still a reasonable drive. Definitely better to make any reservation at Moab, it’s so busy. The only negative thing would be the heat and exposure during the summer. There isn’t a tree or any shade at all

felt very safe, spread out and beautiful scenery. Close to Arches, yet away from the commotion of the city.
