Good spot by the reservoir where we went fishing, but having fire pits and providing no access to water anywhere didn't make sense and seems dangerous. Provide at least one faucet somewhere. It was nice to have the fire pit (when we brought in all our water ourselves) and great clear nights with the stars and the mountains in the background were beautiful.

Unfortunately the wild fires affected our stay but aside from that this Campground was far from worth the price per night. You barely get what you pay for, a car mat and a tent pad. A picnic tableband and fire pit. The bathrooms were very messy and other campers saw fit to add to the problems. There was only one dumpster on site, and to top it off kens lake is definitely more of a fishing quarry than a swimmable lake. Definitely not worth the detour from moab.

We always like coming to Ken’s Lake because of the accessibility to Moab and hiking and biking adventures. I don’t mean E bikes.

The camp hosts have this campground well in hand. Everything is clean and tidy and evidences close scrutiny and care. Five stars!

We were in a spot in the upper campground which was a hot, dry, dusty expanse. It lacked any privacy and was basically soulless. There was trash in the fire pit, the site smelled like burning plastic, and when we arrived there at 4pm there were people in our site. The bathroom was clean, but filled with flies. We choose not to stay. It was that bad.

Booked a last minute site here during the night of a lunar eclipse. I think there were maybe three other spots taken in the whole campground. No privacy at all as there are no trees but it was almost completely empty so we did not care. Unobstructed view of the sky and tall rock formations in the distance. It’s so beautiful. You are truly camping in the desert at Ken’s Lake.

I got there late after a long day of traveling from Park City, UT. Luckily I was able to find an open spot and scan the QR code to book it. Very quiet night as I had hoped. I was awake early because I needed to get to Dead Horse Point for sunrise. I literally never saw the lake, never used the toilet etc.. I just parked, paid and slept.

There are close spots to hike, ride off-road, boat, and fish. The campsites were clean and had space between them. I liked that they also had a FFS site available. I caught quite a few fish at Ken's Lake. I was there for the high school MTB races. I hope to do it again next year.
