Nice place to stay overnight or a few days! The sites are large and there are pit toilets (I did not use them). I stayed in the lower campground which is reservation only. My dog and I hiked a few trails and had a great experience there!

Great location. You are just far enough outside of Moab that you can see the stars at night, but not too far away where it’s an inconvenience to head back into town as needed.

Overall a great stay. At the group site, generator rate later that 8pm. Thorns everywhere, had to keep my pup on the dirt road during walks, still picked up a few. I'll bring booties for her next time. When leaving on Tuesday, the trash bin was filled to the limit so had to cart my trash home. Otherwise, will stay again, clean sites, love the dispersed sites, having coffee in the morning and enjoying the topography and also the evenings. Oh, and the rates are awesome, especially compared to the commercial options closer to Moab, which are packed so close together its ridiculous.

It is a very open campground, not much tree or shrubbery coverage. Our restrooms were incredibly clean.
There seem to be a lot of activity with campers only staying one or two nights. Overall it was a great site. We were there at the end of September, it was warm and luckily just enough wind to keep things cool for tent camping.
Location is great just outside of Moab close to the Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point.

Loved this campground. Beautiful location. Great views of mountains. Clean pit toilets. No water on site, but easy to get in Moab at the Maverick station, as well as the national parks.
