Ken's Lake is a great location in Moab because it is away from the highway and a beautiful setting. There is a lot to do in the area such as biking and hiking which we did. We could have spent more time there. Campground spaces are far apart and there are plenty of latrines. We will be back!

Site no. A-37. Nice site tucked in back with two other sites. After a long 8 hour drive, we arrived at our site at ~530 pm. At that time no other campers were visible from are location. At our reserved site we find a man sitting in a pickup truck. We pulled next to him to nicely let him know we have a reservation for this site. First he will not roll down his truck window, he just stares at us. Eventually he rolls his window down and starts saying Navajo Navajo stolen land my site stolen land. Then he tells us he has a reservation he put his money in the box on site. This is no longer possible all reservation must be made online or app. After a brief exchange that continue as stated above we told him we are going to find a park ranger. An uncomfortable situation to say the least. We figured if something was available in FF we will just camp there. Nothing was open in FF. So now we are driving around the camp looking a camp host. There is no camp host. There is no park ranger. Now we see the man who was in our site moved to a parking area within the camp. We returned to are site with no further incidents. No toilet paper in the pit toilet. The very large trash dumpster was so full it was bulging at its lids. Trash left next to the dumpster. Come on BLM you can do better.
