North Klondike Campground

I spent two nights at this campground. I was able to register using the QR code at the site. There wasn't cell service but the app saves the reservation. The sites and restrooms were very clean. The campground was surprisingly quiet for how many sites are in this space. It is very open so there is little protection from the wind or shade or privacy. This makes for some wonderful morning sunshine in the fall.

A nice place to stay with interesting places to explore and the price was right. Facilities were well kept and comfortable. We would definitely return here.

North Klondike Bluffs CG was excellent. The QR code worked perfectly.

Good location for mtn biking (ridable to Klondike Bluffs trails), well maintained facilities, and easy pay process.

Cleanest nicest smelling pit toilets, well stocked with toilet paper. Campground was prettier than I expected and sites were fairly spacious and laid out well, not too close to each other.

Huge sites, clean restrooms (and lots of them), quiet, sheltered.

The campground was filled with cow manure and hoof prints. Pretty disappointing to see how destroyed the campground and surrounding trails are. Paying money for a new campground only to have it destroyed by cattle feels very unproductive.

Loved this campground, except for the free range cows on property. Proximity to the national parks is excellent and the Copper Ridge Trails were fabulous for hiking from the campground, and best marked trails. You can see the boarder of Aches from the Alaska trail and the dinosaur tracks were very cool!

We pulled in late and used the QR Code. It was easy.
The campground was adequate for what we were looking for, a place to sleep.

The only negative was the foul mouthed camp host. Not sure why she feels she needs to speak like a lumberjack. Aside from her foul mouth she was nice enough.

When you come in off the highway, maps told me and the other vehicle i was with to go left, after crossing train tracks. That was about 2.5 miles. We went right, which was maybe a little over a mile. Follow the signs, takes you to bike trail spots, keep going youll see a campground sign. Self pay with money or qr code. Qr code cost 22. I scanned the qr code to pay for 2 nights, showed up maybe around 7pm and it didnt make me pay for first night. That was lovely. We stayed in site 8. It has the most shade from the hill. Sun went behind it about 6pm which is nice out there with essentially zero shade. 3 vault toiltets throught the sites. Thats it. You get a fire ring and table, tent pads are hard sand, kinda hard to get stakes in without a mallet. Otherwise great. Some ant hills, nothing else bothered us. 3 other campers scattered. Posted up here to get to Arches. Did climb the hill by campsite, got a great view of the mesa and surrounding landscape. And highway.
Only downside, was no water close by, 20 mins away in moab. And the gravel road into the site, the first half of it was terrible washboard. Had to go literally 4mph for about .75 miles.
