What Guests Are Saying
Kings Creek is a spacious and clean campground with attentive hosts, making for a pleasant stay. Guests appreciate the beautiful surroundings, including deer sightings and a peaceful atmosphere. While some minor issues like a broken picnic table and a non-functioning water spigot were noted, they did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

The water issue was not good. We were told Monday morning by FS that there would be no water until Thursday. So we stopped in Panguitch and paid for water and then get there and it was on. The only reason we even knew there was water was because of the Dixie FS post. Recreation.gov never said there was no water.

The campground is nice with flat and reasonable size sites. There was no water so flush toilets closed and worse no faucet to get potable water.
It is at the end of a 7 mi dirt road, BUT the road is well maintained.

All of the water taps were covered and turned off. We weren’t told before hand that water wouldn’t be available and there wasn’t an explanation on the bulletin board. We had to drive 25 minutes to and from the Chevron for water. Costing us 50 minutes in extra driving time; as well as the cost for the water. For the cost of the site without the amenities described it didn’t feel worth the money. If we were informed about the lack of water it would have allowed us to better prepare. If you’re considering staying at this site, maybe plan on staying in July or August. Hopefully the water would be turned on at that point.

Beautiful and well-maintained campground. Plenty of space between campsites. It was really a delightful spot to camp outside Bryce Canyon. My only complaint is the water wasn't working. The camp hosts said they were having trouble getting things working this year.

All the restrooms in the campground were locked. Only one with portable toilet was open to everyone present in the campground. It was so unhygienic and inconvenient for such a remote campground.

This is a great campground with plenty of space for multiple vehicles. The facilities were clean and the campground host was attentive and kept everything clean and stocked.
