What Guests Are Saying
San Rafael Swinging Bridge Campground offers excellent equestrian sites with clean facilities and well-maintained corrals, earning praise for the dedicated staff. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean, and app-based payment is convenient. A minor drawback is the height of the fire pits, which could be lowered for better warmth. The campground serves as a beautiful base for exploring Buckhorn Wash.

We love the equestrian sites for our horses! They are clean and the corrals are amazing!
The bathrooms are incredibly clean. The air fresheners in them almost make you feel guilty about using them. The employees taking care of these sites should be commended for their efforts. Paying with the app was seamless. My only criticism is the ridiculously tall fire pits. It’s close to impossible to get warmed by the fire in them unless you’re standing right next to them. Lowering them into the ground by at least 12” would help with this. I get that it’s near impossible to have children fall into them, but it’s also hard to build the fire big enough to feel the heat.
Thank you for providing such sites for us equestrian’s!

Beautiful site deep within the San Rafael Swell. There are a number of other sites further up the Buckhorn Wash road which might be free if the main campground is full.
