About Swasey's Beach Campground

The Swaseys Beach campground and day use area allow for camping and picnicking opportunities on the Green River across from Swaseys Boat Ramp. The beach and many campsites are shaded with large cottonwoods. Both areas are often full on summer weekends with recreationists floating the Green River Daily, swimming, enjoying the beach, and camping.

Swasey's Beach Campground offers a beautiful riverfront setting with clean facilities and a friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. Many campers appreciate the stunning views, pet-friendly environment, and the clean beach, with some planning to return multiple times. However, there are concerns regarding flies near the pit toilet and the need for improved nighttime signage, while some sites are noted to be small and less clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Only issues is there needs to be a bit better signage at night. We came in and did any other spots other than 12. Woke up to an amazing view and the sound is the river, it was amazing!

My favorite campsite we have visited in Utah. Beautiful views, wonderful and clean beach, pet friendly. We have returned twice and plan to continue visiting while in Utah :)

very beautiful site. but the flies however were atrocious. never seen them this bad. i assume its because of its proximity to the pit toilet. but you could hear the sound of a huge swarm and at least 10 at a time would land on you while sitting in at the picnic table.. if it werent for the flies i would have loved to stay here several nights instead of just one

We pulled in on a weekday evening in August and lucked into a riverfront site. The setting was gorgeous. There were only a few other campers there so the two vault toilets were very clean.
