What Guests Are Saying
Granite Flat in American Fork Canyon is a beautiful campground, well-maintained with friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. It offers a great location near Tibble Fork and Silver Lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities and family enjoyment. While weekends can be noisy due to nearby ATV trails, visiting during the week provides a more peaceful experience.

The camp site was great. The place to put a tent was small and uneven though. But we were able to work with it.

Our campsite has two parking spaces yet we were required to pay for parking in the second spot when our kids came up to simply visit for a few hours. Why??? We paid for the campsite and there was plenty of room. Other campgrounds do not require this but say as long as the extra cars don’t block the road we were fine to park as many cars as we needed.
I really can’t understand why —other than money—that there needs to be any extra charge! AND I feel very sorry for the camp hosts that have to enforce this…!
This rule truly needs to be changed! Especially so it’s the same at all campgrounds and there’s no confusion.👍🏻

Thoroughly enjoyable campsite, great location for other adventures such as hiking Box Elder Pike, paddle boarding Tibble Fork, or UTV's up to Silver Lake.
Signage for the loops with campsites 30-64 could be improved. At the fork, there is a sign that says "Sites 30-33" and points to the right. I was site 34, so I stayed straight and ended up going the wrong way. The "30-33" sign is misleading, it should be "30-64"

Camping area was a swamp and we had to set up tents on the parking spots. Due to the swamp, mosquitoes were a plenty. Not easy access to exploring in the woods.
