What Guests Are Saying
Granite Flat in American Fork Canyon is a beautiful campground, well-maintained with friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. It offers a great location near Tibble Fork and Silver Lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities and family enjoyment. While weekends can be noisy due to nearby ATV trails, visiting during the week provides a more peaceful experience.

What I like about Granit Flat campground is that each campsite feels isolated. The way it is designed, there are many campsites but it feels like you're in the wilderness with few other campers around you. I also like the ease with which we can either back in or pull through our travel trailer. We drop the trailer and in ten minutes we're at Tibble Fork Res. fishing! Great place!

We had a great time in this beautiful area! Our campsite on the tree A loop (019) didn’t have a completely flat spot for our tent so we had to set up on a slight slope. But other than that, everything was perfect!

We LOVE this campground! So lush and green. The sites are huge, with lots of space in between them. You never feel very close to other campers. Tons of boulders, thickly forested terrain, streams, and places for the kids to explore. The scenery is amazing with lots of hikes In the area. Every day, we go over to the grass field near the entrance, which is a great place to throw a frisbee and play other games. There is Zero cell reception so everyone is literally and completely unplugged. So quiet and peaceful, and such a beautiful place, which is amazing since it’s only 20 minutes up the canyon from the city. We stay here every year, and will continue the tradition for a long time!
