What Guests Are Saying
Granite Flat in American Fork Canyon is a beautiful campground, well-maintained with friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. It offers a great location near Tibble Fork and Silver Lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities and family enjoyment. While weekends can be noisy due to nearby ATV trails, visiting during the week provides a more peaceful experience.

Every year the rates per sites go up with the same excuse it is for upkeep and repairs to the park. And for the last 9 years, the same sites need fire rings replaced/repaired. Tables with boards rotting. Although I did see some pretty new signs up at the hosts sites with rules and rates per sites.
Check in is set for 3 pm with the reasoning that they need to to prep the sites yet our site still had the firepit full of ashes and even a log that was incompletely burned.

We were at campsite #5 which is right by the campground host. They had a large, loud generator that would run for hours at all times of the day starting at 6am up until 10pm. Plus they tried to light a fire with a fresh tree limb and ended up with more smoke than fire. We ended up leaving a day earlier than planned and paid for.

We had a lovely family reunion here. There was space for all 50 of us. Everything was satisfactory.

The campground and facilities were very nice! Loved our campsite. The only BIG down fall was you can hear all the cars and ATV’s. It was midnight and cars were doing doughnuts at the Tibble Fork parking lot. You can hear the music and yelling going on down there!
Totally fine hearing this during the day, but night time past 10pm was crazy. It was hard to sleep with the craziness going on every night.

Campsite 5 is 10 feet from the camp hosts I wouldn’t choose that one again
