I don’t want to say too much because I want it to be available for us next year. Unless you are looking for a posh retreat, you will not be disappointed. The leaves were life changing.

Amazing spot to stay. Beautiful views the outhouse was the cleanest one we have ever seen. It had everything needed for a long stay. There is no phone service which to us was an added bonus. Was nice to reset and unplug for the week. Defiantly will be returning in the future

The guard station and surroundings are beautiful, and easy to get to. It is very rustic, which we like, with no water or electricity. The only thing that needs improving is the fly problem - live and dead flies are everywhere. The four fly strips are covered in them, and the windows are covered with them. There needs to also be a fly swatter.
But we had a nice time there, and enjoyed the area.

Great cabin all by itself. Low traffic area so lots of privacy. Lost Creek Reservoir was a great place to relax by the water. Bring plenty of water and whatever supplies that you would for tent camping.

The gates aren't locked and the signs don't keep people out. We had someone knock at the door asking about rangers. The drive down to the lake is enjoyable. Looking at the night sky is awesome.
