The bathrooms were disgusting. The women’s bathroom had 3 stalls. One was marked out of order. The seat on the second one was not attached. There was toilet paper refuse everywhere. There were dead gnats in the sinks. We kept expecting the toilets would be cleaned but after 3 days we gave up on any improvements. In light of the pandemic this poor cleaning situation is inexcusable!
We were in a tent in a non electric campsite. The RV directly across from us ran his very loud outdoor generator from 8 am to 10 am and 6pm to 8 pm. The tent sites should not be so close to sites that permit generators or the generators should be permitted from 10am - 6pm when most people are hiking or biking.
The view from South campground was amazing! I couldn’t understand how others complained about the campgrounds before we arrived. No hot water and no showers are fine with us. Filthy bathrooms and noise pollution are unacceptable. Hopefully someone will clean those bathrooms before the end of the season. If you contract out the work it may be time to consider a better company. Zion is just beautiful! The staff was otherwise pleasant and very helpful. It is hard to understand why you can’t address what I suspect is a very chronic problem!

Beautiful National Park with amazing hikes and a great bike ride up to Temple of Sinewawa as well as easy access to fabulous restaurants. Camping experience is excellent as long as neighbours are courteous of others.

Quiet and clean! The campsites were big enough, but we wished they had been spaced out a little bit more. Fairly clean bathrooms that were frequently cleaned. Our campsite was by the road and there were cars driving here and there, but it wasn't too bothersome. We had what appeared to be the campground deer hang out around our campground the last night!

Great and convenient campground
As close as you can be to the park entrance and visitor center and being in the center of campground had minimal noise from roads and buses. It was a bit windy at times but that should be expected being in Zion a literal canyon.

Whilst South Campground had some of the best recycling facilities we have come across (well done) they were consistently some of the worst kept toilets we have come across and we were positioned in two different bathroom areas. Sinks were not cleaned properly over more than one day. It seemed to us hygiene is not being taken as seriously as we would expect on this site and the manager needs to get a grip of this. Especially in these COVID times. It was poor I am afraid to say..., best wishes, Jim

Nice, wooded campground with quick access to riverside trail, shuttles and visitor center. Bathrooms are relics that are somewhat rundown and in need of upgrading and repair.

Such a fantastic view of the Zion rock formations surrounding the area. Just such a lovely location. The campsites are not too tight to other neighbors and have easy access to the entrance of the National Park. The bathrooms were tight with the clearance of the door and the toilet (one of the three doors didn't close), but it was cleaned daily and was decent enough. Really hated the walkers walking from the parking lot through our campsite to the trail. Suggest a way to have firewood available at the check-in or the host site. That would of been very appreciated. It seemed like a big deal to us to pack up and take our RV into town to locate firewood. We follow the rules of not bringing in outside firewood. We ended up not having a campfire and it took away from our camping experience. Overall, we love the site and the campground. That is a big deal - location, location, location.

Had spot 115 and it was an absolutely perfect spot. Our flight got delayed so we got in late and the view was incredible the next morning. Highly recommend this spot and campground if your hiking Zion.

Doesn't have bathing facility in the campground, major annoyance
There isn't a tap for each campsite for dish washing, minor but definite annoyance
Best part is location, proximity to shuttle, nearby market and the lovely Zions
