Keep it light or bring rolling wheels for walk in campsites. Great experience being able to walk to the city and park buses. Showers, groceries and restaurant are a walk or bike ride away just across the pedestrian bridge.

We really liked this campground. Very clean bathrooms and easy access to water. Our site was pretty sunny...others were better. Would recommend a sunshade and stake your tent down very well. The canyon gets quite windy. Beautiful park!

Clean campsites and clean restrooms at Watchman Campground. Quiet at night. Lots of deer running around in the campground. There was no camp fires allowed due to the fire hazard at this time of the year ( Summer). Weather was hot but this didn't stop us from enjoying our time. Overall my family and I had a good time.

Clean and convenient to explore the Area. The community shower is not closed. Toilets at the campground need renovation.

We appreciated the electrical hookup— it was HOT in the afternoon but the evening breeze cooled it down in the evening ant the mornings were great. The campground had some shade and it was very roomy for our trailer and tow vehicle. There was a lot of dead branches, shrubs and grass. Cacti plants were doing well.

Site is level and clean. Did not need leveling blocks. Easy to get in and out with a 26' RV. Located near a bathroom and an intersection. Could not hear traffic noise because our AC was running most of the day time hours. Large and spacious site. Tent pad appears level. Car/RV parking pad is paved but tent pad is gravel. Short drive to dump and water fill stations. Adequate cellphone signal to check emails and weather report.
Had to use a portable AC in addition to roof AC to stay cool during day because the RV in sun most of the day. The shade covers tent pad area (directly at the rear end of the back in site). Will definitely try to get this site if we ever go back.
Highlight of the trip in end of July is the hike in the narrows. Flash flood warning was just lifted when we arrived at the park.

The bathrooms were very clean. The shuttle stop was very close by and the shower services near the Zion outfitters were close by. The campsites were sufficiently spaced out. Overall, good campsites.

The cottonwood trees have mostly died and there is little shade. Our camp sight was souronded by dead trees. The area is also overrun by deer that steal food and will try to break into your cooler. The tourons also pick branches from the surviving cottonwoods and feed the deer. This campsite was depressing. An example of how the park is overrun and not maintained to keep up with the influx of people and idiots.
