Location was clean, roomy, and in the process of being updated. Only downside is they did not have full connections. Free dump site and water was available in an easy location. Site is also in close proximity to welcome center.

We were in D020 against the canyon, great spot, decent space between sites. Bathrooms are clean. Super quiet, no noise and no light pollution. Easy walk to shuttle stop and in to town.
Only downside is there is no parking for campers in the park. You have to be out of your spot by 11AM, we packed out at 8:30AM and headed to the visitor parking lot which was FULL, along with the oversized lot (we were in a camper van), and it was FULL, Note, if you are note oversized 19'+ and you park in the oversized lot - you are guaranteed a parking ticket - that I appreciated!

Watchman was a great place for our family to stay on our short trip to Zion. It gave us a “home base” from which we could walk to places for food and supplies. We could have also walked to the various shuttles to get to other spots in the park. Having a designated parking spot was a huge help given it was very crowded the days we were there. Our views were amazing, the facilities were clean, and it was so convenient.

Great place - but be very careful if you're bringing a dog. The place is absolutely covered in (invasive?) fox-tails. They're very very dangerous for pets.

We loved the location and the campground. The views do not disappoint and stargazing is fantastic. From the campground there is easy access to the trails and town of Overton with short drives by car. The shading provided over the table was great. It was convenient to have a water tap at our site also. Each site has quite a bit of space from your neighbors so you don’t feel packed in. Our only issue is the concrete pad for the tent is pretty small (we could fit a three person and a one person side by side and that’s it) and there are rocks but no ability to get stakes into the ground. In high wind conditions our tent collapsed because we could not secure all the lines and slept in our car. We loved the location but next time I would probably rent an RV.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. The only downside is being close to the shuttle parking lot making early mornings noisy with car alarms.

Very close to the visitor center, signboard and the park shuttles. The view from the campground is amazing being one of the most accessible national parks
