Great campground. I'm almost afraid to leave a good review here because that will make it even harder to get a reservation. It looked like they are building a new campground at Zion.

Enjoyed our stay in loop B and would do it again. Watchman is the best location (besides the lodge) for exploring Zion, as it is an easy walk to the tram or bike ride up the road. The toddlers loved the water and sand at the nearby beach. Our site did not have afternoon nap time shade, but we had an awning.

The campground is a little congested but the site was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are great for a campground and there’s potable water.

The campground was very clean, easy to navigate and a wonderful place to say. Only cons are the lack of shower facilities in the park and the roads are narrow, so if you have a long rig, it can be hard to navigate

This campground does not have shower facilities, and the ground is difficult to stake into, so bring something metal you can use to help! The campground is within the canyon and can experience strong winds particularly into the evening, so a proper stake-down is a must. The facilities include a water fountain and dish rinsing station, bathrooms, and various dumpsters. Regular sites are non-electric. Sunrises are beautiful. Generally a very picturesque campsite, friendly camp hosts, and easy to move car to visitor center parking early in the morning before day-trip guests arrive. Just don't stay at your campsite too late into the morning or you will be listening to the chorus of car alarms and honking as the visitor center parking wars begin!

This Campsite was great! My party included 26 people and 8 cars, we all fit comfortably.
There is a paved pull through that can fit 4 cars. (Small)
The bbq pit was very big, enough for the whole group to sit around it. There were 2 Bbqs, very wide and big. Our walk to the visitor center was about 7 mins. There was a trash/recycle bin, close by us but not too close. The bathrooms were clean, the Dish sink was clean and spacious(located next to the bathrooms. There is also a water spigot, next to the bathroom.
We walked to zion outfitters for the showers.
The picnic tables were long enough for our group.
We had enough shade from the trees to block us from the sun.
WARNING: please put all of your food in the-bear box or your car. trust me when i say the squirrels can get inside the tents. Either by opening up the zipper or making a hole in your tent. We found out the hard way…. Deer will roam in the mornings, please pick up all your trash before leaving anywhere.
The only downfall was that there was a sprinkler that was broken so when it would turn on, the water was just pouring out. (Making so much noise in the am)

I had a less-than-desirable campsite at Mathers Campground at the Grand Canyon. After two nights, I stopped by the registration station, and the person their went out of their way to get me in a better spot.

I was in Site 7. It was fairly level and convenient to most things. The only downside was there was no shade in the afternoon. I would pick a spot across the road to get shade.

Zion is much less irritating when you can stay in the park and catch a shuttle instead of trying to get in and get a parking spot then catching the shuttle. We couldn't get a spot in the park 2 years ago and didn't enjoy zion near as much as we did this time. We'd walk over, jump on the shuttle and were stress free. The campground was clean, beautiful and very convenient. I would absolutely stay here again. Wifi works here.
