This was a first time to Watchman. Very roomy and super clean campsite. An awesome setting. A bathhouse as clean as one could reasonably expect. The walking distance to visitor’s center also a plus!

The Watchman Campground was my first exposure to Zion as a while and was the perfect spot for staging my trip in the park. Amenities were clean, the site was in a perfect centralized location, and staff around the campground/visitor center were friendly.
Be sure to book early to get your ideal spot, but overall all locations within looked to be equal (depending if TV or tent). Note that the campground also have easy access to the bus line so you can leave your car at the site and not need to worry about traffic and travel.

Really great campground! Convenient location, clean bathrooms, beautiful views. Not too loud either, not sure what else you’d want out of a campsite.

This campground is in a very convenient location. Just know that all sites are close together with very few trees and shrubs. In summer this site would be very toasty as it was in full sun. Thankfully we stayed in October. Good bathrooms and great dish washing sink.

Watchman campground is a beautiful setting and the grounds and individual sites are very well maintained. Each site in the D section tent loop has a gravel surface which prevents dust and reduces tiny debris, but also adds a nice color hue. I am not a fan of old, wooden tables and the ones here are newer and made of metal. Site D035 is on the edge of the loop and has a direct view of mountain peaks and the rising sun and moon, and a tree that provides shade in the October afternoon. Water and bathrooms are a short walk away. Regarding the park in general, it was very disappointing that there is no supply or convenience store!
