Been twice, once in July and just now in the frozen tundra.
Both times were perfect! Very very clean, Full of wood and firestarters, refilled snacks and water without being asked. Staff is very communitive over text without being pushy or intrusive. It is small and cozy with just about everything you need for a few days to escape. Pale Fire Brewing right down the street had excellent pizza, beer and very friendly staff if you want to get out.
Highly recommend and looking forward to next time!

Brilliant concept by Marriott! Isolated "campground-like" community of independent modular cabins. Efficient use of limited space. My wife and I had a queen cabin, which was astonishingly outfitted with kitchenette, bathroom, and dinette. Cabin was completely covered in natural wood inside and out, and had huge double insulated bedside-view window and was comfortably heated with split HVAC system. The forecast low was 10 degrees and the system easily kept us toasty inside. Comfortable bed. Especially liked the attentive communication provided by host from before and after our stay. True getaway experience. Highly recommended.

This spot is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or to come and just reset. It’s so peaceful so quiet. They have a contactless check-in so they will text you everything and if you need something, you just text them and they will bring it to you. The staff was extremely extraordinary nice kind in every way they did come around every day to replenish firewood, towels, coffee whatever you needed. they have a trail. It’s A hour away from Skyland Drive The ride was peaceful and calm. You wake up to a big window looking out to nature. What else can you ask for? I would definitely book this trip again and again.

We loved our stay at the cabins for our stop in Virginia. The inside is cute and cozy and was very clean, the view outside of the large window by the bed was gorgeous to look out of. We spent most of our time overnight as we’re bit of night owls and had a ton of fun in this space. There’s a stove top and some included pots and pans for us to make our dinner/breakfast, and the bathroom was a fine size for us. 100% would recommend and we will definitely be adding this to our must stays for our future road trips.

We spent 4 wonderful days at the Postcard Cabin at Shenandoah North. It was truly a memorable stay. The cabin was beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. From the cozy interior to the peaceful surroundings, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
Our hosts were attentive, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home.
