This is a lovely remote spot. I reserved it for just my wife and me in a Class B RV. We visited, then decided to leave.
There is no camp host. We were all alone at the end of a one-lane road with no cell service. A bad guy and his accomplice could have easily blocked the road, stolen our camper (or worse), and we would have had no way to summon help. With a third (or more) person(s), or a gun, we might have stayed, but we would have slept with one eye open. Perhaps we have watched too many scary movies like Deliverance. That said, the site is great for bigger groups.

Campsite and service were fantastic. We would enjoy more trees for hammocks. The hiking trail needs lots of work. It hasn't been cleaned in years. Trees and bushes everywhere on the trail.

Enjoyed the privacy and solitude of this Recreation area. Close to home so I could go home and take care of my animals. Great for a family reunion type weekend with like minded people.
