Longwood is well maintained and the hosts are great. The RV sites are mostly flat. 2 of the RV loops are a bit far from the 2 bath houses. The lake shore is nice to hike.

We had a wonderful short stay in our camper at Longwood filled with swimming and kayaking. The campsite was very spacious and loved being able to drop the kayaks in right there! Hope to come back for a longer stay next year. The only negatives are how quickly the water and electric sites fill up and there wasn’t much sand in the beach area (assuming that it was gone because of recent wall construction). We are talking about possibly coming back late summer/early fall if the right tent site is available! Fingers crossed! Overall one of the best trips we’ve had this year!

The gate wasn't locked. People came in beside us at 11:30 with kids crying and set up there site. A lot of traffic at night, bathrooms filthy, campers leaving and throwing trash on ground that was blowing onto our site and all over. We love camping at Longwood or is our favorite out of all of the others but if the the conditions don't change there we will find somewhere else to camp where there is peace and quiet. Went to the swimming area with the grandbabies and there was music being played that I didn't want to hear. It was loud and obnoxious. They left trash all on the beach at the picnic area, very disgusting. The breaker kept tripping on our site, we told the people at the hate and they said there's does the same thing. My response was it has never happened before. Very, very disappointed in the way it is being kept this year.
