I had a nice quiet night. Only one thing is the stone is not comfortable in a tent. Need to bring a thick pad.

Beautiful campground with sites widely separated to ensure some privacy. Campground is in a remote setting, have to drive around 20 miles to the nearest town for restaurants and shopping. However it is a ideal campground for
relaxing and cooking on the grill. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean, as well as the campground itself. Thanks

My mother in law said she would like to go camping at Buggs Island so I searched campground around Buggs Island and found Longwood Park and we all enjoyed the Park. The location is great . The Park itself is pretty . Enjoyed the quietness we had site 17 and it was right at the lake perfect ... Yes we will be returning to Longwood Park. Thanks for a great two day getaway..

Great site. Wood was unavailable and outhouse was so smelly it was nearly unusable. Beautiful location on the water.

Great RV Park. We used as a base for 7 days to visit a local family. Large sites with beautiful tree coverage. The water and 50A service was good. Sites are level. Some sites are right on the water and the rest are close to the water. Gate personnel was helpful and courteous.

It was our 1st time & it was wonderful. We're already excited to get back. Mr.& Mrs. Pennick and all the lovely folks (Bob too!) at the entrance shack were super friendly & very helpful. If you like nature, swimming, fishing, kayaking, & super quiet nights by a fire..Longwood is the place. We saw great grey herons, otters, osprey, & even a bald eagle. 55k acres of WLM areas & 800 miles of shoreline...yeh, come see it.

Check-in was efficient and we received helpful information from the staff at the gate. The site was clean and very spacious. Everything worked. Peaceful location and campsites were not stacked on top of one another.
