A beautiful and serene park! We visited in mid October when the trees were ablaze with fall colors and the squirrels were frantically collecting the many falling acorns. We had ideal hiking weather with sunny days and cool temperatures. We enjoyed perfect campfire nights without bugs and just the right amount of chill. The park itself seemed to mute the voices and sounds of the other campers, and left us thinking we were sharing the lake and woods with only the wildlife. It’s simply perfect for a quiet getaway of conversation and contemplation before winter arrives.

Level & very long site. Private with beautiful Autumn foliage. Low water pressure though. Restroom & showers clean. Very friendly & helpful staff.
