The rangers are very rude at times. I think the $5 entrance fee for visitors is too much for what is available for them to do. We can go to other state parks for $2 and there is numerous things available for us to do. The bathrooms were unavailable for a lot of our stay. We have to clean out our own firepits and there aren"t equipment provided to do so.

Rules seemed to change overnight. No parking on grass, having to clean out our own fire pits.

The campground was the most run down I have EVER seen it. My family has camped Cranesnest for over 20 years. The grass was so EXCESSIVELY high. The trash was over flowing And on the ground. The smell was sickening. Swarms of flies EVERYWHERE! If we had been new to the area we would not have even unhooked the camper. Higher fees and no maintenance???
Also lot’s of campgrounds are outlawing hoverboards they are EXTREMELY fast and dangerous to the riders and the guests. They speed around animals, pedestrians, and vehicles. A small child slammed into a truck while I was there and was bleeding from his face BAD. Another child got hit by a hoverboard while taking a walk

Great camp ground. The bathrooms were cleaned daily. The grounds were kept trimmed, and very neat. Very well lit at night. Great access for fishing, and boating. Good family campground, great playground! Will definitely be back!
