What Guests Are Saying
Pound River Campground is appreciated for its great location and clean, updated facilities. Many visitors welcome the ongoing upgrades and renovations. While some suggest improvements like adding barriers in the showers and providing Wi-Fi, the lack of cell service is seen by some as a positive aspect.

We always enjoy the area, camp hosts are always helpful and friendly. I have a few suggestions, as my family camps only on pound river year after year since I was a child. A play ground needs to be put back along with some sort of internet or Wi-Fi service. I have a son in the army one weekend a month , travels almost 9 hours, and I can not receive calls and must re direct then to dispatch for the camp host to get. We also have disabled children that can not sit in a regular swing , that would be nice to see one placed with the swings now there. That’s just some suggestions. Point broad band has been running lines all over the county maybe that would be something to look into. Pound is the only place in the area we will stay, we love Jackie and Gary, they are awesome hosts. And we love to see our park rangers. They are always nice.

The lake was 10 ft lower than summer level. I don't blame anyone no one can make it rain. The reason I like the campground I can park my boat at my campsite. The drive to the marine to lanch boat was a 50 minute drive.
If I had known the water level was this low I would have made other plans
In the past I would give the campground excellent review. I am sorry I couldn't this year

Great campground! Sites have nice view of the lake. Only a few minutes from town, but feels remote. Camp host is very nice and great to talk with. Would go back again.

Very nice campground. Bathhouse and grounds were clean and host was friendly and helpful. Bring your bug spray since you are right on the River.
