Every time I come here im pleased. We stayed in site 70 it was peaceful and the employees and people camping where polite and nice. Very clean camp ground too reminds me of camping as a kid and now my son gets to experience it.

I know completely out of your control, but it definitely influenced our stay and makes us leary of returning. The area immediately outside the campground is SKETCHY and a few interactions with the "residents" made us very uncomfortable.
The host site is an absolute disgusting dump. An employee being allowed to keep their own site in that condition shows that they have no concern about the condition of the rest of the campground.

We camp at sites 92 and 93 every year. We always love that it is quiet and peaceful. This year, however, the beach area was very busy and parents were allowing their kids to "run wild". The bathhouse was not very clean and several toilets were clogged up and unusable. The Park Ranger was great, very friendly and checked on us and several campsites around us. We have never experienced this before. We will absolutely be back next year. However, it will definitely be in the fall to avoid the loud noises from the beach area.

The sites are small for our fifth wheel + truck, so we needed to park the truck in a convenient parking spot nearby. There is no cell phone service. We couldn't play much or watch anything- just mentioning this so people know to bring DVDs and have music downloaded! That would've made me experience more relaxing, but that's personal preference. The bath house was clean and the hot shower felt great. The lake was stunning! We were so impressed with the view, and I'd love to see it in October when the leaves change. I would come back with downloaded music and DVDs 🩷
