Rockahock Campground

It was amazing but we had to switch camps because someone else came but there was nowhere else to be. It was amazing there though.

This is a very awesome place. I’ve been here on several occasions and always had a good experience. Until the new woman who manages it. She’s very rude. She cursed at my friends daughter. And physically grabbed me and
one of my friends who were staying here. And cursed at us as well. She does not treat people with respect and has an awful attitude. It’s common knowledge in the park. Therefore we will no longer be coming back

Went for the boat ramp. They open the store at 9am if you arrive before that there are envelops and pencils to fill out your information and leave your money. There is a ten dollar fee to use the ramp. If you arrive after 9am you pay in the store. This is a one boat ramp but it is concert and there is a dock beside the ramp. Parking is a few areas so get there early. This is the closest ramp to Walkers dam. Going into the campground there is a railroad crossing with no warning lights or crossing gates so be prepared to stop and look. This is an active crossing.

Very nice folks here. Great fishing. Dock fee $10.00. They have cottages, and other rentals.

We loved staying here. This was our second time and we were going to add it to our list of regulars. It was nice, friendly, and quiet. Unfortunately we were told that our little jeep wasn’t allowed in the campground after confirming during check in that it was. We even paid the 25 dollar fee that is required. Not sure why. It’s no different than a golf cart. It’s small quiet and slow. Just looks different. We will have to find a new place to camp.
