Sites are too close together. Thats not camping. Thats just sleeping outside.
Though they did let me move too a tent site. Which was a bit more spaced out if only by around 15 feet more.

Awesome views, close to the meadow for stargazing, and the nearby trails were peaceful.

Great little campground, we managed to fit 1 medium and 1 small tent on sufficiently flat ground in C122.

The campground is old, rundown, and very crowded. It is evident everywhere you look that they do a bare amount of maintenance. I wouldn't stay there for more than one night.

Very nice campground. Enjoy going there several time each year. Stayed in A92 a few weeks ago and believe the campground needs to work on slowing down the people that are driving way above the posted speed limit. There are a great deal of kids playing and crossing the roads throughout the campground. Please people slow down!

The ranger at Big Meadows campground check-in was so helpful and friendly. We needed a weather forecast for our next destination but couldn't use our cell phones; she looked it up on her computer and printed it for us. The campground was immaculate and bathrooms always clean and well stocked. My first time camping at a national park and it was everything I had hoped.

Site 200 was fine but it contains some asphalt that is falling apart. Wish they would add electric as the generator use by other campers was somewhat bothersome when all the campers around us were using them at the same time, but only during posted generator hours. We use solar and lithium batteries so we do not use a generator. It was very cold at night so I recharging batteries is needed.
