Enjoyed the campsite, nice set up where you could choose to be away from the large rigs/generators. Facilities were clean and accessible, pump out station convenient and clean.

We highly enjoyed this campground and the staff was amazing. All the facilities were clean, the campsites were well taken care of and had enough space between sites. The staff answered all our questions and were very courteous.

Campsite was very nice, Lots of friendly animals. Just be mindful to literally have ur campsite spotless of anything that a animal would be interested in or you will receive a notice/fine.

We really enjoyed the wild deer roaming around the campground and the drive there along the ridge was beautiful! Also the sunset from the lodge porch was great! Made some great memories there! Will definitely be back!

It was a nice, private area. The showers were also way better than I thought they would be. The drive and the hikes were very beautiful!

Great spot that is very accessible to everything in the park. It was our first time doing a multi day camp trip and it was great. Cannot recommend enough.

The staff was professional and friendly. This campground is usually a great experience. The visit was not as pleasant. Cars continually were driving the wrong way up the D loop, creating an unsafe situation, especially for children playing and oncoming cars. Also, towards the bottom of the D loop, the bathroom had extension cords coming out and feeding a lower campsite. Quiet hours not observed by some. I will certainly come again but hope for better control of the campground.

The NPS staff are superior - super friendly and helpful. The facilities, visitor center, camp store are very nice. They are very dog friendly, but you must keep your dog on a leash and there is no dog park for releasing energy. Shenandoah National Forest is beautiful and filled with a diversity of plants and animals. Black bears are a reality - although I didn't see any during my June stay. Can be a stimulation overload for your faithful canine companion(s).
