Rangers and park staff were friendly and helpful. Camp site is intuitive and well-kept. I didn't realize each campsite would have a picnic table and firepit, but that's probably something I missed when booking. This was my first camping trip to Shenandoah and I really enjoyed it. It's my third National Park this year!

The campground is clean with birds serenading and lovely trees. Tall rigs need to be cautious of low hanging branches.

This was my first experience solo camping as a woman and it was honestly incredible. The people I met were very friendly, the facilities well maintained and the trails were unforgettable. I’m already planning my next trip.

Great experience, as always. Wish I didn't have to reserve at Big Meadows, but with some planning it works out. Great staff all around. Perfect campground.

Aside from the trucks paving the campground roads, this was a nice place to camp. The bathrooms were nice, clean and had hot water. Showers at the camp store needs $5 in quarters for 10 minutes.

Great campground, had everything we needed. Wish the showers weren’t $5 but can’t complain too much.
