The site was flat, tent stakes went in great, the bear proof food box worked great, the fire pit was full good shape, easy setup, the camp was quiet, friendly staff, bathrooms were accessible and really clean, the lodge bar had live music and good food, the trails were well marked and had great views. We had a great time.

We loved this campground! Our site E 173 was tucked away in a serene corner, and the Appalachian Trail runs right past it. The campground is well maintained, the bathrooms clean, and the evening ranger talk was informative and fun.
We very much enjoyed our visit!

The Rangers make the experience special. Without them it wouldn’t be the same. Courteous, Helpful, and Friendly always greeted with smile.

Great campground. Central to a lot of the hiking trails . We found that everyone is respectful and the site is pretty quiet.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the grass was a bit shaggy this time, we find that the sites are well maintained.
